States

Scratch-off tickets are managed by individual state lotteries, so game prices, prize structures, release schedules and reporting formats vary across the United States. ScratchOdds USA organizes those official figures into clear state-by-state pages so you can compare games without jumping between dozens of lottery pages.

Scratch-off games by state

North Carolina

Our North Carolina scratch-off hub currently tracks 79 games from the North Carolina Education Lottery. Each game page includes ticket price, published overall odds, top prize, top prizes remaining, a complete remaining-prize table, the official source and the date the data was last checked.

Florida

Our Florida scratch-off section is in development. We are validating the official data source and checking that game status, prize tiers and update dates can be imported consistently. The section will remain unpublished until it contains complete, useful game information rather than placeholder pages.

Ohio

Our Ohio scratch-off section is also in development. Ohio publishes remaining-prize information differently from North Carolina, so its data pipeline requires separate validation. We will add the state only after the figures can be checked against official Ohio Lottery pages.

What you can compare

For every supported state, the aim is to present the same essential facts in a consistent format: ticket price, overall odds published by the lottery, advertised top prize, number of top prizes originally available and remaining, full prize tiers where the source provides them, release date, update date and a direct link to the official source.

This makes it easier to compare games within one state. It does not make lotteries from different states identical: prize-claim timing, game closures, reporting schedules and the way tickets are distributed can all differ. Always use the issuing lottery's rules and claim information as the final authority.

Why states are added gradually

A large list of state names is not useful if the underlying game pages are empty or outdated. We add one state at a time, test the official source, verify individual games and confirm that updates do not remove valid information. This slower approach supports clearer pages and reduces the risk of presenting mismatched or incomplete prize data.

Checklist for a live state

  • Active games have individual pages with meaningful data.
  • Prize tiers and overall odds are traced to an official lottery source.
  • Every page shows when its information was last updated.
  • Games link back to their state hub and to useful related comparisons.
  • Editorial pages explain the limits of odds and remaining-prize figures.
  • Expired or unavailable games are handled without silently presenting stale data as current.

How to use the state pages

Start with your state's main page, then narrow the list by what matters to you: ticket cost, published overall odds, top-prize availability or release date. Open an individual game to review every available prize tier. A higher score can help organize a comparison, but it cannot tell you which ticket will win or whether a specific ticket is better than another ticket in the same pack.
